Our services

What each kind of work involves, and what it is not.

A woman on a sofa gestures as she talks to a woman taking notes in a black chair

Individual therapy

One-on-one sessions to understand your patterns, steady your emotions and build inner resources. We draw on relational psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing and mindfulness.

  • For adults who want steady, unhurried work

  • 50-minute sessions, at a pace you and your clinician set

  • Not a medical evaluation, and no medication is prescribed

  • Paid as described on How fees work

EMDR therapy

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is a structured therapy in eight phases. We prepare first, then work through one memory at a time while you follow eye movements, taps or tones. EMDRIA, the EMDR International Association, approves the trainings that teach it.

  • For adults who want to work with memories that still feel close

  • You stay awake and in control, and you can stop at any time

  • Not hypnosis, and no promise about any one result

  • Length and frequency are set together as we go

Couples counseling

Work on how you talk, how you attach and the cycles you fall into, together, with a clinician who does not take sides.

  • For partners who want a steadier way to be together

  • 80-minute sessions

  • Informed by the Gottman Method and emotionally focused therapy

  • Not a way to decide who is right

Somatic therapy

Notice what your body does with stress, and use breath, posture and attention to help it settle. We draw on Somatic Experiencing, taught by Somatic Experiencing International.

  • For adults whose stress shows up in the body

  • Gentle exercises you can use between sessions

  • Talk-based, with no hands-on touch

  • Often woven into individual or EMDR sessions

Grief and loss

Support through bereavement, divorce and other endings, with no timeline and no push toward resolution.

  • For adults living with a loss

  • Room for what you feel, as it comes

  • Not a way to move on faster

  • Sessions follow your pace

In their words

“The room was quiet and nobody hurried me. I always knew what we were going to do before we did it.”

Krista R.

“She explained each step before we started and stopped whenever I asked. I felt in charge of the pace.”

Edgar M.

“She listens closely and doesn't fill the silence. I never felt like a case file.”

Sakura T.
